A dental getaway to San Antonio: It’s worth it

San Antonio Riverwalk

Spanish Mission

The New You Smile Center  is declaring war on high prices of expensive dental reconstructions, including dental implants, All-on-6 implant-supported bridges and full-mouth reconstructions.  Many middle-class Americans are  participating in “dental tourism,” traveling to Mexico, Costa Rica, Thailand and other foreign countries for these procedures.

Set aside your passport or visa!

You can now get these procedures at affordable prices comparable to foreign rates, during a short a short trip to beautiful San Antonio.  And you don’t have to worry about giving up American quality and legal protections, the way you do in other countries!

That’s right, you can end the shame of bad teeth and start a new chapter in your life during a mini-vacation in the Alamo City!

For Texans, San Antonio is a short drive away, or a shorter commuter plane hop.  You should set aside a full day for your intake and prep, as well as extractions, placements of implants and fittings with a temporary bridge that will give you an immediate dazzling smile!

Meanwhile, before and after your procedure, you can spend time in lovely San Antonio, the grand Spanish Colonial settlement and birthplace of Texas Liberty.   Did you know that people from around the world come to pay homage to the defenders of the Alamo?

Join us on the famous River Walk, with its beautiful arched walkways and bridges, tour boats and outdoor restaurants and cafes.   Dozens of attractions are available within an easy walk of Alamo Plaza.   On the western side of downtown, El Mercado beckons, with its markets and the iconic Mi Tierra restaurant, famed for its Mexican bakery, strolling mariachis and San Antonio insider gathering 24 hours a day.  Indeed, San Antonio is “Ground Zero” for the Tex-Mex style of Mexican cuisine, mesquite-smoked barbecue, and chicken fried steaks.

San Antonio boasts one of the country’s premiere zoos, as well as many museums.

The Alamo was the northernmost of a string of Spanish Missions stretching like a string of pearls along the San Antonio River.   The collective Mission Trail, operated by the National Parks system, offers a step back in time.

Enjoy the theme parks of  Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and the aquatic adventures of Sea World San Antonio, and dozens of spots for day trips within a short drive of San Antonio.  These include the celebrated community of Luckenbach, subject of  Waylon Jenning’s hit song, the historic settlement of Fredericksberg, with its German shops and restaurants and the Admiral Nimitz Pacific War Museum.  To the north and west is the beautiful Texas Hill Country, often wild and untamed.

San Antonio is home to the champion San Antonio Spurs, one of the dynasties of the NBA, and the Alamodome, on the east side of downton, showcases sports, conventions and concerts.

The San Antonio region is packed with annual festivals, headlined by the April run of Fiesta San Antonio, the Texas Folklife Festival, which showcases the dozens of cultures and ethnic groups that became the melting pot of Texas,  and the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, one of the stops on the professional rodeo circuit.

Smaller communities host local festivals year-round, from local rodeos to watermelon thumps, strawberry festivals, peanut festivals and much more.  It’s hard to find a time of year that doesn’t offer something fun to do!
